presenters
As a volunteer Presenter, you will be responsible for entertaining and informing our audience by presenting information or entertainment in an exciting, attractive and conversational way. You could be a main Presenter or Co-host a show. From creating links between songs to introducing and interviewing guests, all we need you to bring is a fun, bubbly and exciting personality to interact with our listeners.
djs
As a volunteer DJ, you will be responsible for entertaining and informing our audience with exciting and engaging music mixes. You could be a main DJ or have a guest DJ slot on a main Presenter's show. All we need you to bring is a fun, bubbly and exciting personality to interact with our listeners.
producers
As a volunteer Producer, you will work with Presenters and DJ's to generate concepts for their radio shows. Planning all aspects of a show, including sourcing and confirming guests, ensuring everything runs on schedule while the show is on-air. Using various broadcast editing software. Keeping up to date with current affairs in order that show content is topical and well-researched. Editing interviews/reports/conversation pieces. Meeting tight deadlines.
journalists
As a volunteer Journalist you will be responsible for writing exciting and engaging text for the station's news page on the website, in a detailed, accurate and up to date manner. Sourcing all images to accompany stories and also interviewing celebrities and special guests to produce content for stories.
